MASAC 2023 – CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

We invite researchers and experts to submit their abstracts by the 25th of August 2023.

We will hold the SAHF MASAC Education Symposium on the 3rd and 4th November 2023. The meeting aims to highlight the latest developments, share, and broaden the knowledge base of Haemophilia treaters in South Africa.

We will award the winner of the best presented abstract a prize.

The abstract guidelines out below for easy reference:

• The title should be as brief as possible but long enough to clearly indicate the nature of the study.

• TITLE IN CAPITALS

• Authors and their affiliations should be clearly stated.

• Please limit the body of the abstract to no more than 350 words.

• The abstract should consist of four sections labelled: 

- Background: Clearly state the objectives of the study/investigation 

- Methods: Describe the basic procedures (study subjects and analytical methods) 

- Results: Present the main findings in a logical sequence giving specific data and the statistical significance if possible 

- Discussion/Conclusion: Emphasize new and important aspects of the study and the principal conclusions that are drawn from them.
